Lakefront Treehouse - Hawk Hideaway

The Hideaway was a perfect size for our family. (Adult son and family and us, grandparents). Beautiful inside! Loved the privacy! We stayed, before the other 2 treehouses were finished. We expected to be at the beach,most of the time( the kids were, every day) but the steep incline, was not meant for older people, with knee issues.( we walked down twice) We thought the golf cart could be taken to beach, but the path is blocked. We expected fires on the beach all week, but realized, we werent carrying logs down there. Perhaps, throwing logs over cliff, would've worked. For a Lakeside vacation,we didnt enjoy the lake nearly enough because of the path down and up. We are in our 50's, older people, should consider this, if renting and the stair/ladder to 2nd bedroom and rope nest, is steep and is best to climb down backward. Last note, you are in the trees, so are the spiders! Lots on the deck! We have wonderful memories, with grandsons and pictures and are glad we experienced it.
